Simple winter soup for the immune system

Winter soup

Winter is all about nourishing your body and boosting your immune system to combat these colder months. Try this immune-boosting soup once a week to keep colds and flus at bay. If you start to feel a little under the weather it’s time to cook this magical soup up and nourish your body and boost that immune system.

Immune Soup

  • 3-4 brown onions sliced
  • 1 whole garlic bulb crushed
  • 1 litre of chicken or vegetable stock
  • 5-7cm ginger grated
  • Chilli to taste (the more the better)

Directions

  • Simmer for low heat for 30-60 minutes, add more stock if needed and sip slowly.
  • For an extra immune boost or to soothe a cough add some thyme.
