When did Hybrid Gym open and what’s it about?
We used to be known as CrossFit Millennium but were inspired 7 years ago by our members to start Hybrid Training. Our goal is to break the stigma around CrossFit training and welcome the community to have fun and see results!
What makes your classes and Hybrid different?
Our coaches each have at least 10 years’ experience and a wide range of qualifications. We are community based and have created a fun place to train. We encourage people who are at different levels of fitness and strength to come train with us.
Any good tips to stay on track with fitness goals?
Consistency and accountability. Forming good habits with consistent training at least 2-3 times a week is essential if you want to reach your health goals. It is also important to not over do it, as that can lead to loss of motivation.
Find someone who can hold you accountable for your goals, like a personal trainer or coach. Make sure you have a plan – when you see results you’ll be even more motivated.
What is your favourite healthy food and not so healthy food?
Healthy food – salmon and salad, with lots of avocado!
Pizza – any kind but particular mention to peri peri chicken!
