Five Health Space Chiropractors are embarking on amazing journey this month, providing Chiropractic care to some of the world’s poorest in the slums of Manila from April 13th-20th. The trip was organised through the charity Giving Health, which was founded by Dr Taylor Harrison from the Rozelle Clinic late last year. He is travelling on the trip along with Dr Luke Nisbett from Mona Vale as well Drs Jessica Mangala and Callum Forrest from the Rozelle Clinic and Andrew Roberts (student intern). The trip has been largely funded through the generous support of Nick and Kate Wood and the Health space clients. In particular, Dr Luke Nisbett has run a number of fundraising days, raising over $2500 to date. Not only an awesome Chiropractor but an awesome guy to boot.
At Rozelle, they will be holding a fundraising day on Saturday April 9th, where 100% of the adjustment fees from Drs Mangala, Forrest and Harrison, will be donated to the trip. This equates to around 25 people receiving care in the Philippines, just from your one adjustment. It is mind blowing to think you can help change 25 people’s lives for the better, just by doing something great for your health. If you are interested in providing support for this or any further trips, please email taylor@healthspaceclinics.com.au for more information.
Photos of the trip will be posted on the facebook page so make sure to follow to check them out.
