Low level laser therapy or “cold laser” is a non-invasive and non-drug treatment for many musculoskeletal conditions. There are no side-effects and it’s painless to receive so patients of all ages are able to be treated and conditions such as neck pain, back pain, sports injuries, tendonitis, sciatica, bursitis and many more can be treated.
Low level laser is more widely available in the U.S. and Europe although it’s becoming increasingly popular in Australia and is used in a range of hospitals and medical clinics. There is research spanning decades explaining how therapeutic laser works and importantly that it can lead to long-term improvement in conditions in addition to short-term symptom relief.
