Amy first trained as a massage therapist, which gave her a keen interest in musculoskeletal conditions and pain management. This led to further study in Chinese Medicine at the University of Technology Sydney to deepen her understanding of how to support people to live a better life. Amy’s passion is to treat people with persistent musculoskeletal ailments. She also has a keen interest in women’s health, stress management and mental health. She assesses her patients individually and tailors each treatment accordingly. Amy is committed to helping people grow to their full potential and improving their quality of life. Attending regular training activities keeps Amy up to date with new techniques and developments that rise within the ever-changing healthcare field. She is trained in Balance Method Acupuncture, which involves using points away from the problematic area and is especially useful with acute pain cases. Apart from acupuncture, she uses various other methods in her treatment depending on an individual’s needs, including Chinese herbal medicine, moxa, cupping, and massage (myofascial release, deep tissue, and trigger point therapy). Her goal for all her patients is to provide professional and effective treatments.
