Rebeca is highly passionate about massage and its transformative effects on health and wellbeing. She has a keen interest in the symbiotic relationship between body, emotions, and mind, and sees the therapeutic effects of massage extending beyond purely physical relief. Rebeca has a unique skill set, coming to Australia in 2019 from Brazil where she studied psychology. She therefore has a unique appreciation for, and understanding of the healing effects of massage. Rebeca loves working with people and has a wholistic, highly individualised, and technical approach and a firm and flowing massage style. Rebeca is visually impaired which she feels is a strength when it comes to massage, and has a very intuitive approach which is sensitive to the needs of each client. She always says, that “each client is unique, and so my approach is uniquely adapted for each person, each time I see them.” Rebeca has a Diploma of Remedial Massage Therapy, and over the past 4 years has had a range of experience both in massage clinics as well as having run her own remedial massage studio. Rebeca is always learning and updating her skills and working to provide the best care possible to each client. She is highly professional and actively provides advice and information to enhance client wellbeing following and between treatment sessions. Rebeca specialises in a range of treatment areas, including physical issues such as sciatica, shoulder impediments, and neck pain and stiffness, as well as emotional issues such as stress, anxiety, and depression. With her unique approach, Rebeca has many regular return clients. As regular clients Michael and Louise Wohlfiel said: “We have had regular massages for the last 20 years, and have found Rebeca to be the most caring, genuine and professional massage therapist we have experienced.” Rebeca’s love of learning extends to a range of areas. She is fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, and English, and has a deep spirituality, with regular practices of meditation, prayer, and yoga. Rebeca feels a positive mindset and outlook, and a deep connection to and understanding of the body, are important factors in supporting wellbeing both for self and others.
