Michelle completed her certificate IV in Kinesiology in 2014. After going to a kinesiologist in 2012 and having a emotional breakthrough in the first session she knew this was something she was interested in. She then went along to a 2 day workshop at the College of Complementary Medicine she couldn't get enough information and signed up for their next class, a dual Diploma in Mind Body Medicine and Kinesiology.
Michelle went to Charles Sturt University and in 2005 finished a Bachelor in Human Movement/ Social Science (psychology) however from 2006 she has been working with people who have intellectual disabilities, supporting them to learn skills to live independently. This is a true passion of hers, helping those who may need an extra support to achieve their goals in life.
Michelle believes that through good health and personal healing we can all be the best we can be. Without health our bodies will not be ready to function and do all it needs to and without healing we will continue to repeat the same emotional patterns without really understanding why we are having our individual reactions to daily living and stress.
Working with kinesiology Michelle can assist anyone who is wanting some answers and understanding about themselves but she would love to focus on those who want to get the most out of their bodies and mind as well as people who might be experiencing anxiety or depression. She would also like to continue working with people who have intellectual and learning difficulties as she already has so much knowledge and experience in this field.
By doing the dual diploma there are many skills Michelle has learnt to assist in creating balance in our mind and body including the physical, chemical, emotional and energetic body. Techniques and knowledge in acupressure, Traditional Chinese Medicine, chakras, crystals, brain function and reflexes allow Michelle to help realign the body where required.
Living on the Northern Beaches in Terrey Hills since she was 10 years old, Michelle spent many summers as a child at Mona Vale nippers and now can be found catching up with friends in some of the local cafes around Warriewood, Newport and Narabeen.
Michelle is a member of the Australian Institute of Kinesiology and looks forward to meeting you and helping you where she can.
