Dr. Kate Harmsen is passionate about holistic, patient-centred healthcare that empowers individuals to thrive. Growing up on Sydney’s Northern Beaches fostered her deep connection to the ocean and inspired a lifelong love of movement and healthy living.
Kate holds a Bachelor of Chiropractic Science and a Master of Chiropractic from Macquarie University. Her personalised, integrative approach draws on a variety of techniques—including manual adjustments, active muscle release, trigger point therapy, stretch therapy, and rehabilitation exercises—to support long-term results and optimal function.
Beyond the clinic, Kate is also a dedicated yoga instructor, sharing practices that build strength, enhance flexibility, and support mental well-being. With a background in competitive football and surf life saving, she brings a strong appreciation for physical fitness and injury prevention to her work.
Her commitment to helping others extends into the community, through her involvement with the Palm Beach Surf Life Saving Club (following a previous role with Queenscliff SLSC) and her volunteer work with Lifeline’s crisis support services.
When she’s not working, you’ll find Kate in the surf, on her yoga mat, with a good book, or enjoying the great outdoors through sport and sunshine.
