Jo’s experience in Massage Therapy started a long time before she was handed her
Diploma in Remedial Massage at Randwick TAFE in 2016. Jo built her knowledge and
hand strength growing up helping her Mother through chronic back pain. This has
resulted in Jo becoming highly regarded and praised by her clients for her wealth of
personal knowledge and expertise in the profession.
Jo has a real passion for massage therapy and loves to see the transformation of her
clients as they hop off the massage table. Using a variety of remedial techniques
including soft tissue release, myofascial release, trigger point therapy and muscle
energy techniques, Jo can personalise the best treatment for you. She has also
completed extra training in Pregnancy massage and Lymphatic Drainage massage as
well as injury specific training including Hip Dysfunction and Frozen Shoulder.
In 2018, Jo took up a position at Randwick TAFE and now teaches the next generation
of massage therapists with the same passion and enthusiasm as she shows with her
clients; “I love sharing my knowledge! I want as many people as possible to understand
what an incredible, rejuvenating and necessary discipline Remedial Massage Therapy
can be.”
After taking some time away from massage in 2021 to embrace her latest adventure of
being a mum, Jo has returned excited to continue her massage journey. She intends to
continue with injury specific training to be able to delve even more deeply into her
clients’ remedial needs while being a good role model for her daughter.
