Jacob has been extensively involved and interested in sports and wellbeing since a young age competing in an array of different sports including soccer, touch football, rugby league and oztag. These activities led to plenty of injuries throughout, primarily battling low back pain which he managed to get on top of with the help of a chiropractor which began his interest.
In pursuit of this interest he completed a bachelor’s and master’s degree in chiropractic science at Macquarie University. Throughout the course of study he found the effectiveness in managing low back pain and other sporting injuries through resistance training, and other modalities. Being interested in the gym and training he has used this knowledge alongside his education to help create an integrated treatment style in the management, prevention and treatment of injuries.
With the use of a variety of treatment methods, including manual therapy, drop piece, adjustments and exercise rehab techniques Jacob aims too better the lifestyle of all his patients and give them the best platform to stay active and energetic in all aspects of their life.
Outside of work, Jacob enjoys his hobbies including gym, soccer and playing with his dog (Dexter). Aside from these activities he spends a lot of time with his family and friends enjoying their company.
