Dawn’s passion for Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture came in a roundabout way. Growing up in Singapore, she was exposed to Eastern healing art forms from a young age. It however took moving to Sydney and going through a challenging period, struggling with personal issues where she found solace and healing from something closer to home - the Traditional Chinese practice of Qi Gong.
The shifts she experienced were life changing, inspiring her to help others in the same way that it helped her. In 2014, she took the plunge and traded her career in media and marketing for a Bachelor’s Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine making it to the Dean’s list along the way.
Dawn has an interest in supporting her patients through women’s reproductive issues, musculoskeletal injuries, stress and anxiety, insomnia, digestive issues and improving one’s mental well-being.
She believes the power of Traditional Chinese Medicine lies in drilling down to the root cause of one’s ailments and takes that approach when working with patients. Dawn is friendly and comes forth with genuine care and concern for each patient. She also enjoys educating patients along the way and working closely with them to attain their health goals.
When out of the clinic, Dawn enjoys bush walking, tackling word puzzles, long walks with her German Shepherd and of course, incorporating some Qi Gong and meditation into the mix.
