Yohanne holds a strong belief that all beings deserve to be happy and peaceful. This philosophy is linked to her own experiments and researches about the human mind and body being one. This perception has been internalized within her more with the different experiences she has lived. Thanks to her interest in body consciousness ever since childhood, exploring dances such as ballet, jazz, contemporary and other modalities as gymnastics, pilates, circus and capoeira, it was in 2011 when she dived deep into Yoga practice, graduating as a Certified Yoga Teacher in 2016.
The more adept to western, ancient and traditional therapies/medicines like acupuncture, ayurveda, florals, aroma and chroma therapy, herbalism, homeopathy and naturopathy the more curious and studious about it she became, attending workshops, retreats, immersions and exchanges. With her understanding of these practices she came to the conclusion that we are very lucky to live in a time where we have so many tools to improve and restore our health and wellness as a whole.
From this perspective, she felt the need to combine all this background and wishes towards a better life with a closer body approach, that’s where Massage met her journey. In her Cert IV in Massage Therapy (est. 2018) from NSW School of Massage, she had learned not only the Swedish/relaxation massage and Remedial overview but also a variety of techniques to assess people’s physical and postural condition such as Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF), Shiatsu for an overall back health, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, deep tissue techniques and facial massage.
Yohanne firmly stands for the belief that massage is a healing art with validated outcomes. So if you feel like giving yourself an honest and compassive act of self-love and care, book your appointment with Yohanne at Bondi clinic and treat yourself right today!
