Ruby began her chiropractic journey as a young kid. At the time, she was representing Australia in athletics and playing representative hockey as well. She found that chiropractic not only helped minimise her injuries and pain, but in fact improved her overall performance as well. This passion for health, sport and wellness sparked her interest in chiropractic care and it’s power in injury prevention and ability to enhance our wellbeing.
Since then, she has enjoyed treating all walks of life. Ruby see's the importance of chiropractic care for all family members, from bubs to grandparents and everything in between. Having recently had her first child, the necessity for paediatric and pregnancy care has been reinforced beyond all belief. The biggest joy Ruby gets is seeing the health and wellbeing of the families she treats thrive.
Ruby has a particular passion for treating children of all ages as well as pregnant women, having completed post graduate training in a number of gentle techniques, including Sacro Occipital Technique, Webster technique, Thompson Drop Technique, Activator Protocol, Logan Basic Technique and Flexion Distraction.
Her background in representative sport has also fuelled her spark for sports, rehabilitative care and performance. This is assisted through the use of dry needling, Muscle Release Techniques, trigger point therapy, rigid and kinesio-taping and Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA).
Ruby loves working with other like minded professionals, including dentists, lactation consultants, personal trainers and acupuncturists, to ensure her patients reach all their health goals.
When she is not in the office, Ruby loves getting sweaty at the gym or on the hockey field, as well as escaping to her family's farm in the Southern Highlands. Ruby is looking forward to treating the wonderful families of our local community.
