Isabella is a registered practitioner of Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine, and has a passion for Chinese Medicine, choosing to incorporate this ancient system of balance and harmony in today’s modern setting.
Isabella has always had an interest in health and healing. She was first inspired by the benefits of acupuncture and herbs when she received great results when treating her own thyroid condition.
She believes in the significant contribution that Chinese medicine makes both as a stand-alone therapeutic practice and as a complementary form of practice.
Isabella truly cares, and is committed to making a positive impact on each of her patients’ health.
From her exceptional teachers she learned that every person and their ailments are unique and that a key to understanding disease patterns in the human body lies in understanding the patterns of nature as a whole.
Isabella is able to treat a broad range of health issues and her areas of special interest include: - Menstrual disorders, Infertility - Pregnancy, labour and postnatal care - Emotional wellbeing, anxiety, depression, stress and tension - Digestive complaints
Isabella qualified from SITCM, is a member of AHPRA and has full medical indemnity. Treatments are claimable through Health Funds. Her style is to provide as gentle acupuncture as possible. She therefore uses ultra fine needles and gentle needle techniques to promote a positive experience for her patients.
Isabella regularly attends professional seminars and clinical workshops and draws on Dr Richard Tan’s Balance method to assist with both physical and emotional dysfunction.
As a Chinese Medicine practitioner, she will identify patterns of disharmony within a person, treat the root cause of disease and imbalance and aim to resolve them. She will usually use a combination of treatments such as Chinese herbs, cupping, moxibustion and Gua Sha to get the best results for her patients.
