Christa is a physiotherapist, exercise physiologist, Pilates instructor, dietitian and Reiki healer. She believes in a holistic approach to wellness and supports clients on their health journey to stay physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually fit. As a physiotherapist she empowers clients through education, personalized exercise and management strategie to recover from injury, improve posture, physical function and sports performance. She is both professional and friendly, highly skilled in assessment, manual techniques and exercise prescription. Christa is trained in the Connect Therapy approach (developed by Dr. Linda-Joy Lee) which focuses on how the different regions and systems of the body are connected. As well as how as humans, our body, mind, emotions and social circumstances are interrelated. Assessment using this method looks at the patient as a whole person to identify the most relevant influences on their current state of injury and health. As a Reiki practitioner, Christa supports clients to enhance overall vitality (Chi) and restore balance and flow through their bodies’ energetic centers (Chakras) and energetic fields (Auras). Reiki is a gentle yet powerful modality that facilitates healing of the mental, emotional, physical and energetic bodies. Energetic stagnation, stuck emotions, limiting belief patterns, built up stress and stored tissue trauma are released via this gentle technique, allowing clients to reconnect to their true self and their bodies' self healing capabilities.
Christa has worked across hospital, gym, wellness clinics, pilates studio and private practice settings and enjoys supporting clients from all ages and backgrounds. She believes deeply in the power of movement for mental, emotional and physical well-being as well as connection to self. Growing up Christa enjoyed the arts, drama and dance as well as most sports including gymnastics, hockey, soccer and touch football. Now she loves mixing up her HIIT and strength workouts with Dance, Yoga, Pilates and walking and swimming in nature. She has found that overall wellness is achieved via building a loving connection to one’s true self on a mind, body and spirit level.
