Before massage, Akihiro previously enjoyed a career in hospitality working as a chef at Japanese restaurants in Sydney and Japan. After many years behind the kitchen, Akihiro decided to change careers and enter the world of massage. The main reason for the change of careers was his love for sport and helping others which led him to become a massage therapist.
Ever since a young age, Akihiro had a sporting background where he has competed in many sports including soccer, futsal, rugby league, kung fu & oz tag. Now he enjoys attending the gym regularly and swimming.
Akihiro has completed his certificate IV in Massage Therapy & Diploma of Remedial Massage at Randwick TAFE graduating on June 2017. During his time at TAFE, he completed his 280 work placement hours at Intuition Massage Clinic run by Randwick TAFE and volunteered at the 2017 Port Macquarie Ironman performing post-event sport massage for the finishing athletes. Akihiro is a member of the Association of Massage Therapists (AMT)
Akihiro uses a variety of techniques such as deep tissue, Myofascial release, trigger point therapy and Swedish massage in order to treat clients. Whether it‘s fixing a ongoing sports injury, general maintenance for optimum performance or just simply wanting to relax tense muscles, Akihiro will help you step by step to get the desired results.
