Chiropractic Care – The Best Remedy for Back Pain

The Team Approach To Lower Back Pain

Statistically, low back pain is one of the main causes of time off work and lost dollars to the economy. At some stage in our lives we will all experience back pain, this is a fact! But who is the best practitioner to help you overcome this epidemic? Who’s in your corner?

The fact is low back and spinal pain is a multi-factorial condition with many wide and varied contributing factors. Lack of movement, trauma, arthritis, muscle imbalances, poor posture, stress, pregnancy and sports are just a few of the more common causes of low back pain, each requiring a different treatment and rehabilitation approach.  At Health Space our range of practitioners proudly stand side by side to provide a multi-disciplinary approach to find a solution for your low back pain. Our highly trained Chiropractors, Physiotherapists, Acupuncturists and Massage Therapists all play an important role in providing you with the best suited care for your specific complaint.

So who should I see first?

Chiropractors are highly trained experts in spinal care and are the best practitioners to see initially when having back pain. Their expertise in diagnosis of spinal dysfunction will allow them to build a treatment plan that is bespoke to your condition. This may mean a referral to another modality ie: Physiotherapist, Acupuncturist, Massage Therapist or treatment from the Chiropractor themselves. As every case of low back pain is different, we don’t take a ‘cookie cutter’ approach instead we find the best way to resolve the problem using a ‘Team’ approach.
