Our Team At Redfern, Sydney's Inner West
Irene is an accredited clinical nutritionist with a profound understanding of the importance a healthy diet can make on one’s life. Before she began her journey into nutrition she felt that she had a good grasp on healthy diets; what worked and what did not. It was only after having 3 children and experiencing a serious illness that Irene realised there was so much more to learn.
During her year-long recovery from Guillain-Barré Syndrome, she researched and read anything and everything there was about nutrition. Eventually this deep-seated need to know more prompted a return to school where Irene received an Advanced Diploma in Nutritional Medicine and began providing clients with the tools needed need to take control of their health.
Irene is happy to help clients with any health concern or guidance in making the healthiest food choices.
Some areas of special interest include:
- Autoimmune disease
- Digestive issues
- Reworking your favourite recipes into healthier versions
You can find Irene at Health Space Redfern on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
After years of working for different NGO’s in Colombia and Australia, and drawn to the idea of creating a space where he could still help people and their communities, Crhistian found his passion through Massage Therapy, which has taken him into a new journey.
Through different techniques such as Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release and Therapeutic Stretching, Crhistian’s goal is to help his clients to release any tension, find the road to complete recovery from sports related injuries and get them back to their everyday activities.
He treats the body as a way of empowering clients to become aware of their own with a focus on providing effective and relaxing treatments that will leave anyone feeling rejuvenated.
Crhistian completed his studies at Randwick TAFE NSW achieving a Cert IV in Swedish, a Diploma in Remedial Massage and Sports. He has recently joined the Health Space family in their new clinic in Redfern.
