Hi, I’m Prue and I’m a Mind Body Medicine Practitioner and Kinesiologist. If you are wondering what these modalities are, this post is for you.

Mind-Body Medicine (MBM) is a holistic approach combining ancient wisdom from the East with science based Western medicine practices in order to explore the mind-body connection and promote physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health, using a number of techniques, including kinesiology*. MBM aims to identify the underlying cause of a problem, rather than simply treating the symptom, and works with the body’s innate ability to heal in order to restore balance to neurological and physiological function. Kinesiology is a safe, effective and non-invasive biofeedback tool (gentle muscle monitoring) used to identify stress patterns within the body.

Through this gentle approach, profound changes may be experienced emotionally, mentally and physically, thereby increasing a person’s health and wellbeing. 
When our system is functioning well, we feel well.

My belief is we could all do with understanding ourselves a little better. The mind and body is a miracle and Mind Body Medicine & Kinesiology are a fascinating way of better understanding yourself, your body and the world around you.

It's helps to bring about a connection and can help you move through life in a calmer, more mindful and aware way.
